Dawn of War II: Retribution’s ‘Last Stand’ mode goes standalone

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Relic have revealed that the ‘Last Stand’ co-op mode from Dawn of War II: Retribution will be released as a stand-alone title tomorrow, retailing at $10.00 USD on Steam.
In Last Stand, players take control of one of several super-powerful heroes and have to work co-operatively to fend off waves of enemies. This mini-slice of game will not require the original Dawn of War II: Retribution to run; though if you do decide to upgrade to the full game, you’ll be able to for a reduced price.

It’s a pretty interesting move on the part of THQ and Relic, providing a kind of large, paid-for demo to lure in new players. You can read more about Dawn of War II: Retribution’s multiplayer, here.
