Relic has announced that Dawn of War II will be getting a co-operative survival multiplayer mode in October.Titled The Last Stand, you and up to two other players will face off against twenty waves of opponents as either a Space Marine Captain, an Eldar Farseer, or an Ork Mekboy. Your character will level as you go, unlocking new weapons and armour – and that levelling is set to be persistent. You won’t lose it when you die. This update will be joined by several bug fixes and balance tweaks, as well as two new multiplayer maps. We’re told it’ll go online on 2 October. If you haven’t picked up Dawn of War II, then check out our review to see why you should, and then check out the THQ Collector Pack to see how you can get that and a load of other brilliant games for a relatively small fee.
