Praise whichever solar object you hold dearest, because Bandai Namco have got around to confirming that Dark Souls 3 will run at 60fps on the PC. Hooray.
They did so in a tweet earlier today, linking to a short gif which does, indeed, run at 60.
Forget what you've heard. #DarkSouls3 will run at 60 FPS on PC! https://t.co/h8O21GTxR8

There had been some concerns that Dark Souls 3 might be locked at 30, boosted yesterday by a speculative support staff reply to a frame-rate query email; but these should now be alleviated. Of course, if you were hoping for a completely uncapped frame-rate or own a 144hz monitor or something, you may still be a bit disappointed. But hey, 60 is pretty good, right?
Dark Souls 3 will be released (outside Japan) on 12 April.
