Turns out that, like John Travolta, you can be both a dancer and a tough guy… well, if you partake in an online existence at least.
Players of Star Wars: The Old Republic have uncovered a bug which allows them to interrupt and avoid the attacks of enemies. Entering the /getdown command triggers your character’s social dances, it also allows you to render hostiles useless.
It seems that getting-down can result in players brushing off even the hardiest of foes without receiving so much as a scratch, with end-game content apparently being won with ease. We’ve yet to test the “feature” ourselves, so cannot comment on the validity of such claims.
BioWare’s heavy handed approach to handing out bans based on players finding exploits in systems that they failed to plug means any attempt to test the bug for yourself could result in disciplinary action.
