Iconic Pistols
These are the iconic pistols that you can find in Cyberpunk 2077.
Apparition (tech)
- Perk: Charged shots deal extra damage; when HP is critical, increase fire rate, damage, and reload speed.
- Mission/location: Looted from Frank’s body during the “War Pigs” side job.
The sidequest will only available if you chose the Corpo lifepath. Towards the end of the mission once you’ve met with Frank, choose options that’ll lead to hostility. These will let you kill him and grab the iconic weapon.
Anyway, you can watch the video below from YouTuber Duck360Gaming2:
Chaos (tech)
- Perk: Crit, damage type, and status effect are randomized whenever you reload.
- Mission/location: Dropped by Royce during “The Pickup.”
You can only get this if you selected options that would make the Maelstrom gang hostile. This is also related to romancing Meredith Stout.
If you weren’t able to obtain it during “The Pickup,” then I’m afraid you won’t be able to get it later. I know that Royce (if he survived) appears during “Second Conflict,” one of Kerry Eurodyne’s sidequests. Unfortunately, it seems you won’t be able to attack Maelstrom gangsters during this part. By the time you’re able to, Royce won’t be there anymore.
Dying Night (power)
- Perk: Significantly reduced reload time; +50% headshot damage.
- Mission/location: 2nd Amendment store near V’s apartment.
Fairly early on in Cyberpunk 2077‘s campaign, you’ll receive a call telling you to pick up V’s gun from the nearby store (it’s in the same apartment complex). Get it from the shopkeeper Watson.
Genjiroh (smart)
- Perk: Can target up to six hostiles simultaneously; increased magazine size and projectile speed; deals electric damage with a chance to apply shock.
- Mission/location: “Play it Safe” (Sniper Nest) or “Last Caress” (Arasaka Estate).
“Play it Safe” – Prior to eliminating the second sniper, you’ll find a locked door to the right upon exiting the elevator. Open it if you have 11 Technical Ability or by using the keypad (2906 passcode).
“Last Caress” – As seen in the image above, you’ll find this iconic weapon in the server room of Arasaka Estate during one of Cyberpunk 2077‘s finale missions. The location itself is in Westbrook – North Oak near Kerry Eurodyne’s mansion.
Likewise, if you go to the roof deck and check the bar, you’ll find a legendary Sandevistan OS Cyberware implant. You can grab these just before you speak with Hanako Arasaka. Alternatively, you can return later (after finishing the game and choosing “one more gig”) to notice that all the hostiles are gone.
Kongou (power)
- Perk: Reduced clip size, but it has lower recoil and an increased rate of fire.
- Mission/location: Yorinobu’s Penthouse during “The Heist.”
During the braindance sequence, you’ll discover that Yorinobu’s got iron. Once you’ve reached the actual penthouse, check the nightstand to find this iconic weapon.
La Chingona Dorada (power)
- Perk: Lower reload time and an extra mod slot; higher chance to apply burn and stun effects.
- Mission/location: El Coyote Cojo after completing “Heroes.”
After “The Heist” (Jackie’s death) and “Playing for Time” (V’s and Takemura’s escape), you’ll receive a call from Mama Welles, Jackie’s mother. Visit El Coyote Cojo in The Glen and complete the objectives. You might even get the keys to Jackie’s bike.
When everyone’s said their goodbyes to Jackie, fast forward time by 24 hours. Return inside the bar and check the altar to find Jackie’s iconic weapon. Sadly, you can’t dual-wield these.
Lizzie (tech)
- Perk: Fires an extra round each shot; increases the number of rounds fired when fully charged.
- Mission/location: Lizzie’s Bar after meeting Judy in the basement.
One of the rooms in the basement (close to Judy’s server room) has the iconic weapon. Even if you’ve already romanced Judy and she’s no longer in that location, you can always return to Lizzie’s Bar. It’s near Sutter Street in Kabuki.
Malorian Arms 3516 (power)
- Perk: It doesn’t have a perk, but it is Johnny Silverhand’s weapon.
- Mission/location: “Chippin’ In.”
After doing several main missions, you’ll get the “Chippin’ In” sidequest from Johnny. This eventually leads to a romantic scene with Rogue during “Blistering Love.”
Anyway, in “Chippin’ In,” the objective is to raid a freighter called the Ebunike. Towards the end, you’ll confront Grayson and he’ll drop Johnny’s iconic weapon.
Plan B (power)
- Perk: Bullets have a high chance to cause bleeding; shots cost eddies (cash).
- Mission/location: Return to the landfill completing Cyberpunk 2077‘s first act.
You can learn more via our mini-guide.
Pride (power)
- Perk: Increased crit chance and headshot damage.
- Mission/location: “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door.”
This is part of Cyberpunk 2077‘s finales, and you’ll need to ask Rogue for help. You’ll obtain this iconic weapon while battling a certain boss.
After finishing the campaign and respawning in front of Embers, you’ll get Pride as a reward for completing this ending.
Skippy (smart)
- Perk: Has two modes (lethal and non-lethal). Oh, and it also talks to you.
- Mission/location: This is part of a side job that initially appears as an undiscovered location.
You can learn more from our mini-guide, including whether or not you should return it to its rightful owner.
