The game can be pre-ordered on the EA Store website for $24.95 USD, which is a $10 USD discount.
The game has been voted as the Best First Person Shooter and Best Graphics Technology of E3 2008.

Crysis Warhead is also optimised to run on a wide range of PC’s and boasts a story that can stand on its own without reference to the previous installments.  It is also a stand alone title, so you won’t need the previous versions to play this.

CEO Cevat Yerli: “Fans of Crysis are going to enjoy more of the open-ended gameplay, cutting-edge visuals and huge, epic battles from the first game, while also finally finding out what kind of havoc Psycho was wreaking on the other side of the island.”

The game also features three multiplayer modes,, including TeamInstantAction (team-based), InstantAction (as it says on the tin) and PowerStruggle (hardcore team-based), with 21 maps and six new maps for the first two modes, and one for the PowerStruggle mode.
