Crysis 2, Limited And Nano Editions Revealed

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

EA and Crytek have announced that there will be two special editions of Crysis 2 available from launch.
Before anyone cries “money-grab!” however, Crytek confirm that the Limited Edition will be available “for no extra cost.” It will simply be, as it’s name suggests, Limited.
The pre-order only Nano Edition on the other hand, will set you back $150.0 USD / £120.0 GBP.
Here’s what the Limited Edition has in store:
– Enough bonus experience points for early access to all 5 preset multiplayer class load-outs.
– SCAR hologram and weapon skin (pictured below) – the hologram can be used to project a fake image to confuse opponents, while the weapon skin is just for show.
– One-of-a-kind platinum dog tag. One of over 250 collectible in Crysis 2’s multiplayer.

Meanwhile, here’s what you can expect for your Nano Edition cash:
– The Limited Edition above, housed in a steel case.
– An 11″/28 cm statue of the game’s hero “Prophet” on top of a New York taxi cab.
– A art book, described as “high quality.”
– Even more external packaging, “modeled after” the nanosuit itself, which houses all of the above.

The Nano Edition, as mentioned, is pre-order only (though there doesn’t appear to be a link to do so at present) and will not be available in stores. The Limited Edition will be available “while supplies last.”
