Crusader Kings 2: Way of Life out today with more incest

“A Game for the Whole Family.” I admit, I laughed.

If Crusader Kings 2 didn’t have enough murder, intrigue, seduction, and incest, you’ll probably want to pick up the newly released Crusader Kings 2: Way of Life.

This is the expansion that “bolsters the role-playing elements” of Crusader Kings 2.  You’ll be able to pick a Focus for your characters, giving them access to new events and diplomacy options, as well as adjusting their stats. If you want your king to be the type who loves going hunting, you can do just that. If you’d rather him be a seductive lech who really wants to seduce his niece, then you can do that too.

The trailer below gives you a good idea of what to expect (and even includes SEDUCE YOUR RELATIVES as a major bullet-point, sooo…). Crusader Kings 2: Way of Life is due out today, and will cost you $7.99.

This also marks the release of a new patch, which I’m not even going to pretend to understand. You can view the patch notes here, though.

When not writing about games, Tim can occasionally be found speedrunning terrible ones, making people angry in Dota 2, or playing something obscure and random. He's also weirdly proud of his status as (probably) the Isle of Man's only professional games journalist.
