  • What is Rudo Resurrection?

Rudo Resurrection is a beat-em-up game using the wrestlers and IPs of indie wrestling promotion Chikara. In the game’s premise, the promotion’s greatest heel (villain) Ultramantis Black has conceived of a new scheme to take over Chikara and the  world, by resurrecting man of Chikara’s old characters to build a dark army.

  • Who is making Rudo Resurrection?

The developers are Rotary Games, and the company’s talent pool has worked on games like Lord of the Rings Online, Asheron’s Call, and Infinite Crisis.

  • How much is the crowdfund, and where will the money go?

They are going for $ 50,000, and it will cover the costs of development, including hardware, software, licenses, salary, marketing and legal.

  • Why should you support Rudo Resurrection?

You don’t need to be a wrestling fan to want this  game (although it helps). If you’ve been itching for a new beat-em-up with mid-tier production values, its own style, and want to see Rotary give this new direction a try, you should fund Rudo Resurrection.

You can fund Rudo Resurrection here, and check out both the original game promo (from four years ago!) as well as the Kickstarter pitch below.
