We’re starting a new feature series for crowdfunds we feel are worth your consideration. Whatever the platform, as long as its a video game and it’s good we’re featuring it here on Crowdfund Corner!
We’re keeping things simple on Crowdfund Corner, so we’re answering some basic questions for every crowdfund and let you decide to hype and support it yourself. We will cover Kickstarter, Indiegogo, other crowdfund platforms, and individual crowdfund efforts, such as Weapons of Mass Development.
This week, on Kickstarter, is Kaiju-a-Gogo.
- What is Kaiju-a-Gogo?
It’s a strategy action title using giant movie monsters as the theme. You are a mad scientist racing to take over the world city by city with your monstrous creation, before the two other mad scientists get there before you. The game is slated for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android .
- Who is making Kaiju-a-Gogo?
Kaiju-a-Gogo is being developed by Kerberos Productions, from Vancouver, Canada.
- How much is the crowdfund, and where will the money go?
Their base goal is $ 50,000, and it will fund the development costs of the game. Kerberos is shouldering little or none of these costs themselves.
- Why should you support Kaiju-a-Gogo?
You’ll want to support Kaiju-a-Gogo if you like strategy games, giant monster movies, Canadian video game companies, or just want to try something different.
