Although the release of Coral Island 1.0 was exciting, there’s still much more on the horizon. The Coral Island 1.1 roadmap reveals new features like ocean farming, festivals, and much more.
It’s not just a reveal for 1.1 content, but a roadmap for content up to version 1.3. This developer update is sure to get you pumped for what’s coming for this life and farming sim.
Coral Island developer update reveals 1.1 roadmap
On February 27, Stairway Games posted a developer update on its website speaking on the state of Coral Island and the future for updates. This new 1.1 roadmap for Coral Island reveals many new features like ocean farming, festivals, and plenty more.
In the image above you can see plenty of features for update 1.1, and a few others teased for 1.2 and 1.3. Some of the biggest new features explained are a Town Rank S questline, Attractions, a Tourist system, more Merfolk storylines and romances, ocean farming and ranching, Savannah access, and even a Buffalo and Ostrich!
During the endgame of Coral Island, you’ll be able to experience a new questline to achieve Town Rank S, which is a huge feat in itself. With this new Attractions category, available on Town Rank A, you can build new Attractions on Coral Island like a Hot Air Balloon, Mini Golf, and a Ramen shop.
We’ll also be getting a batch of Tourist Backers, and we can even see their character art teased here. So many unique characters! You can chat with them any time they visit, but unfortunately, there’s no romance available.
Also coming to 1.1 are hangouts with your favorite NPCs. You can invite them to hang out with you at the Cinema or Ramen shop, among other places. Back at your farm, you’ll be able to tend to Buffalo and Ostriches. You can get these animals at the Savannah.
Although this was a nice sneak peek into what’s coming for 1.1, some of the listed features for 1.2 and 1.3 sound even more exciting. Coral Island’s 1.1 update will be dropping sometime this April. If you want to know what Coral Island’s future roadmap looks like, we’ve got you covered.
