EA’s Aaron Kaufman has announced that the Command & Conquer 4 public beta is due to start today, at 9am PST.Kaufman, better known to the fan community as Apoc, confirmed the news via Twitter.”Command & Conquer 4 BETA goes PUBLIC 9AM PST Thursday at Gamespot, first details here,” Tweeted Kaufman, following yesterday’s news that the beta would be starting “soon.” Was anyone expecting it to be this soon?Judging by the page on the Command & Conquer 4 site, you need to sign up for the beta with a free Gamespot account from 9am PST – that’s about 5pm GMT tonight, by our reckoning. The first wave of keys will include “thousands,” but once those are gone, you’ll be placed on a waitlist and will receive a key in the order in which you signed up.We reckon the beta’s definitely worth a shot. Have a look at our multiplayer hands-on to see why.
