COD MW3 and Warzone Daryl Dixon skin: Release date, price, and contents for Walking Dead bundle

The Walking Dead has had a huge presence in Call of Duty throughout Modern Warfare 3’s life cycle, and now Daryl Dixon is joining the likes of Rick Grimes and Michonne in COD’s roster to celebrate The Haunting in MW3 and Warzone. Daryl Dixon’s bundle is one of the coolest things coming to the Call of Duty store for this year’s Haunting event, so Walking Dead fans are eagerly awaiting his arrival.

While the Call of Duty Season Six blog post showcased all of this year’s Haunting cosmetics like Art the Clown, Trick ‘r Treat, and Smile, not everything is available at the start of the season. The Haunting’s skins will be released slowly throughout the season, so you’ll have to wait a little while longer to unlock Daryl Dixon in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

COD Daryl Dixon release date

The Daryl Dixon skin doesn’t have a concrete release date in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone just yet, but we have a pretty good idea of when he’ll arrive in the shop. The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event kicks off on September 25, so that’s when Daryl Dixon’s operator bundle will most likely be released. The Road to Terminus event lasts for a week, so Daryl has a chance to show up in the store at any time during the last week of September.

The same thought process can be applied to the other Haunting skins in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone, especially since special skins tend to get XP bonuses and other buffs during event periods. The Trick ‘r Treat: Candy Hunt event starts on October 2 immediately after The Walking Dead: Road to Terminus event ends, for example, and the Trick ‘r Treat operator bundles will most likely be released alongside the event given Call of Duty’s track record for the past year.

COD Daryl Dixon bundle price

The Daryl Dixon bundle doesn’t have a set price in Call of Duty yet, but these crossover bundles almost always cost 2400 COD Points. A $20 purchase of COD Points will get you just enough to get the Daryl Dixon skin and its associated cosmetics. As per usual, there’s no way to just buy the Daryl Dixon skin on its own. You have to buy the entire bundle, stickers and all, no matter how frivolous some of the stuff may seem.

If you purchase the Tracer Pack: Daryl Dixon bundle in Call of Duty, you’ll get the following items in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.

Surprisingly, the Daryl Dixon operator bundle doesn’t come with a crossbow weapon blueprint. Thankfully, you can still equip Daryl with his signature weapon in both Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer and Warzone battle royale modes as long as you have the standard crossbow unlocked in the marksman rifle category. The new Torque 35 compound bow is a ton of fun, too.

Since this is a Tracer Pack, the included weapon blueprints come equipped with special tracer rounds and death effects. In Daryl’s case, the Hope is Not Lost and Lil’ Ass-Kicker blueprints feature Survivor’s Streak tracer rounds and the Dixon’s Vengeance death effect. Expect them to look similar to the other Walking Dead tracers we’ve seen this year in other Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone bundles.
