Champions Online has topped the PC sales charts on both Steam and Direct2Drive.We’re not wholly surprised, considering it launched earlier this week and has been highly anticipated for awhile. You can check out our most recent coverage on the title right here, which contains all the info we had on the title up until that point. It’s like a Champions Online acclimatisation guide.Pre-orders for the Aion Collector’s Edition have taken the number two spot in both lists, and we’ve been giving a lot of coverage to that, too. Our MMO editor Bill Vaughan did a whopping five hands-on previews with the title, detailing her experiences as she levelled up and playing through the beta. You can find links to them here.Street Fighter IV takes the third place in Steam, likely due to the recent sale on that particular digital distribution service which brought it down in price significantly, while the recently-released Section 8 also places fairly well on both charts. Stick around for our review of that over the next few days.Enough from me: on with the charts, courtesy of Shacknews.Steam Top Ten (30/8 – 5/9)Champions OnlineAion Collector’s Edition (Pre-Order)Street Fighter IVLeft 4 DeadCounter-Strike: SourceTHQ Collector PackSection 8Team Fortress 2Killing FloorThe Orange BoxDirect2Drive Top Ten (30/8 – 5/9)Champions OnlineAion Collector’s Edition (Pre-Order)Fallen Earth (Pre-Order)Section 8Civilization 4: The Complete EditionAion (Pre-Order)Rise of FlightFallout 3Dawn of DiscoveryF.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
