Champions Online Open Beta Details

Cryptic has announced that the open beta client for Champions Online will be available to download from 5 August.

Players will be able to download the file on a first come first serve basis from FilePlanet. There will be 50,000 keys available to players in Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand. Sign up at the Champions page to take part or, as reported previously, pre-order the game to be guaranteed a place on the open beta. A number of selected retailers have special offers on the pre-orders that grant exclusive in-game items or other benefits, read more about that in our previous article.

The open beta of Champions Online begins on 17 August. The game actually launches on 1 September in NA, 4 September here in the UK.
