A round-up of the info on the game’s first expansion, Revelation, is presented. So far, we know that it’ll be for level 37-40 players, it will contain a new 5-hero lair, Therakiel’s Temple, and will be set in the beautiful Vibora Falls area. There will be six new Tier 4 powers to help players battle the five new villain groups; Sovereign Sons, Trey Kings, New Shadows, Dogz, and Nephilim. There’s also 30 new perks up for grabs, and some of the old ones will be able to be completed differently. Finally, what could your superheros want more than a bunch of new costumes and customisations including tribal body paint, crocodile skin textures and, yes, a long mullet.

Aside from Revelation, a selection of new adventure packs are apparently in the works, though no details are given just yet.

The Cryptic team, known as the Cryptonauts in-game, have been posing for some snaps ahead of their Friday PvP event, and they’ll likely make an appearance on the official website soon. However, there are hints that the team’s alter-egos will be making more in-game visits for other upcoming events. Check back for more details as they’re announced.
