CCP Games have released a reveal trailer for EVE: Valkyrie, a “multiplayer spaceship dogfighting shooter” that makes use of virtual reality tech and is set in the EVE universe.

This is the game formerly known as EVE-VR, a tech demo that was shown off at both EVE Fanfest 2013 and E3 2013, and is in development at CCP’s Newcastle studio.

That’s pretty much all there is in the way of detail right now, but I will say that A) it looks phenomenally pretty, and B) I’d wager it’ll make use of the Oculus Rift, if that’s the sort of VR they’re talking about. Oh, and C) if so, I suspect this is going to be the videogame version of the Vomit Comet. In that it’s going to make you vomit. A lot.

Gorgeous screenshots and the reveal trailer are below. EVE: Valkyrie is due out sometime in 2014.
