Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2

The trailer is even more melodramatic than this picture. I’m a big fan, obviously.

I’m getting a bit tired of saying this, but Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is set directly after the events of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, a game which had some rather massive twists near its close. If you don’t want that game to be spoiled for you, stop reading. Go and play it. Do not watch this trailer, which shows off most of the main cast and talks about Where They Are Now.

Everyone else: hello! Watch this trailer, which shows off most of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2‘s main cast and has them all say very dramatic things. You can hear Robert Carlyle lamenting his lot, Patrick Stewart being gruff-but-reassuring, Jason Isaacs shouting, and Natasha McElhone being all sweet and pleading. In addition to that lot returning from the first game: new characters and voices! Hooray.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 will launch on 25 February.
