It’s been a long time since a Castlevania title made it to the PC, but the sequel to the series-rebootin’ Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be making that leap. The news comes from the typing fingers of producer (and writer) Dave Cox, who tapped up the following words on Twitter: “That’s right! Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is coming to PC!”

Less captivating news for anybody who was wanting a Wii U release as well, as Cox followed up that statement with this: “How many people have a Wii U? #zero How many people have a PC #lots – Never say never for Wii U but hard to make a case!”

The first Lords of Shadow starred the vocal talents of Robert Carlyle, Patrick Stewart and Jason Isaacs (hello to him). Here’s the sequel’s debut trailer from E3, when the game was announced for Xbox 360 and PS3.
