…but only for PC players.
Got a PC? Got the Battlefield 3 beta? If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to both questons then you can get your iron sights on the Caspian Border map this weekend. This weekend marks the end of beta, so get in the action while you is the advice from developer’s DICE.
“After analysing the data from our first round of closed Caspian Border tests, we have great news for participants in the Battlefield 3 PC Open Beta: the DICE team has decided to bring back Caspian Border for the beta’s final weekend and conduct an open large scale test of the 64-player Caspian Border map,” North American Battlefield 3 community manager, Ian Tornay, wrote on the Battlelog forum.
Tornay goes on to explain why Caspian Border is limited to the PC beta:
“As we are again specifically testing 64-player server configurations, this test will be for PC only. The Caspian Border servers will be available for all PC players to join. Caspian Border will be available starting Friday, October 7th, in the afternoon (CET).”
“Caspian Border isn’t in the client file for PS3 and console unfortunately,” he added.
Check back tomorrow (7 October) for our hands-on impressions of the first two hours of Battlefield 3’s campaign.
