As with any RPG, there are a lot of characters, each with their own personalities and character arks in Cyberpunk 2077. As you get involved and delve deeper into each of their storylines, your relationships slowly develop. Sometimes, if the timing is right and the stars are aligned, these can become deeper relationships. They aren’t always overtly romantic, but sometimes, if you play your cards right, they are. In the latest Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, Claire comes into the scene, but is she one of the romance options available to V?
Can you romance Claire in Cyberpunk 2077?
No, none of the new characters in Cyberpunk 2077 are a romance option, including Claire. However, despite not being able to get her into bed, it is possible to have some rather close and intimate moments with her. This barmaid is lonely and needs someone, such as a close friend, to talk to.
As you develop your relationship with Claire, there will become options to share some intimate moments. She has been hiding and living a lie as a sleeper agent for too many years. Pretending to be someone she isn’t has taken its toll on her mind and created someone who is afraid to open up.
Playing as V, you have the option to be the person Claire can rely on in Cyberpunk 2077. As you spend time together and sink a couple of shots, she will finally open up. After a little heavy flirting, it seems like maybe Claire will become a romance option. Maybe she does, depending on your view.
As you and Claire enjoy your evening, one of her favorite songs comes on, and the two of you spend time dancing in a really rather touching set piece from the designers of Cyberpunk 2077. This is as far as it goes. She has walls, and it’ll take more than V to break them down. Maybe you should give Songbird a go?
