If you’re a fan of the Souls-like genre, you’ve probably already heard of Lords of the Fallen. This dark fantasy action RPG not only allows you to play by yourself, but it’s also co-op friendly! But how Steam Deck friendly is it? Since it’s on Steam, you’d think that it should work perfectly fine on Valve’s handheld console. But sometimes, Steam games may not work as well as you’d think on the Deck. If you’re wondering whether you can play Lords of the Fallen on the Steam Deck, I have an answer for you.
Is Lords of the Fallen Steam Deck compatible?
Luckily, it seems you can play Lords of the Fallen on Steam Deck! As this is written pre-release—releasing soon on October 13—we’re not sure yet which level of compatibility it’ll receive, but my guess is that it’ll be Verified.
This is due to the fact that in a Steam Discussion for Lords of the Fallen, someone asked whether it would run on Steam Deck. The developer replied saying that they fully support Steam Deck. To me that means by launch it should have the Verified stamp of approval.

Steam games can have one of four ratings, either Verified, Playable, Unsupported, or Unknown. It could be at Playable level, and still run great despite some adjustments needed within the settings. But by the wording of the developer’s response, I’m guessing that Lords of the Fallen will be Verified on Steam Deck.
This means that it’s properly made to run great on your Steam Deck, so you shouldn’t have to worry. The visuals of this game looks pretty stellar, so if you have the cheapest Steam Deck, it may heat your system up or chug a little. But we’ll just have to wait and see!
