How to change your pilot name in AC6
Yes, you can change your pilot name in Armored Core 6. You don’t need to worry about picking anything crazy or cool right now — I just put “Noah” as a placeholder. As you fight more mechas in the Arena, you’ll experience cool pilot names firsthand and get some inspiration for a cool pilot name for your own character.
To change your pilot name in Armored Core 6, all you need to do is select “Display License Menu” from the garage (by pressing triangle on PlayStation). From there, select “edit name” and you can change your pilot name to whatever you want. Maybe something mysterious like “Ghost Orange 73” or something hard like “11_Seconds_Left,” I don’t know use your imagination.
Your pilot name doesn’t impact Armored Core 6 in any way. It simply allows you to express yourself.
When you play PvP, you can have your teammates and opponents read your online ID or your pilot name. To change this, select “Display System Menu” from the garage, select “Network Settings,” and change “Display Player Names” to pilot name or online ID.
And that is how you change your pilot name in Armored Core 6. It’s not too difficult and you can change it immediately after finishing the first mission. What is hard is knowing what the best OS Tuning upgrades are in Armored Core 6. Luckily, we have a guide to help you out.
