Can you buy the Witcher armor ornaments with Bright Dust in Destiny 2? Answered

Bring a sword.

As announced in the last This Week in Destiny, Bungie has added an exciting new set of armor ornaments to Destiny 2 based on CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher franchise. Here’s everything you need to know about these new ornaments and whether or not you can buy them with Bright Dust or if you’ll have to fork over some Silver.

Unfortunately, the Witcher ornaments are not available to purchase with Bright Dust in Destiny 2 at this time. Instead, each set costs 2,000 Silver, meaning you’ll need 6,000 Silver total for all three sets. This is in line with other crossovers like the Assassin’s Creed set which didn’t have a Bright Dust option either. So if you’re willing to buy lots of Silver, that’ll be the only way you get this armor ornament bundle.

Each class in Destiny 2 sports a different style of gear which is all found in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Titans have a set of ornaments that closely resemble Geralt’s starting equipment in that game, while Warlcoks have a set that’s based on the Ursine armor set. Hunters have a set that’s a little harder to discern specifically but I’d say it has some similar features to the Wolf School armor set. All three of these sets do look brilliant though and manage to capture the vibes of The Witcher pretty well in Destiny 2’s art style.

All three come with helmets that mimic Geralt’s iconic scar that goes across his left eye. Plus you’ll get to don a steel and silver sword on your back to really make the Witcher cosplay come together. This is one of the cooler crossovers that Bungie has done with Destiny 2, and I’m not just saying that as a fan of The Witcher.
