You can now activate Steam keys via the Steam website

Valve appears to have snuck out a new feature on Steam today allows you to activate a game key via the website.

OK, this not a massive feature but it’s one that some Steam users may find a little more convenient. The feature appears to have not rolled out in all regions but we expect to see it shortly in the UK. The link to activate a product will appear in the drop-down where your Steam username is shown in the top right of the site.

The activation page can also be reached no matter where you are using this link. I’m sure a lot of users will appreciate this update, it could make life a little easier for some although it’s yet to appear on the mobile app.
