The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard is just one week away. Fans are getting ready to play through a new campaign, multiplayer, and the next chapter of the Dark Aether story with zombies. Ahead of the next title in the franchise, the developers have revealed the Vanguard pre-season roadmap. This shows off all the content that will be available at launch. I think it’s safe to say that fans shouldn’t be disappointed.
We already know that there will be 20 multiplayer maps at launch, with 16 of those available in 6v6 modes. Now, it has been revealed that there will be seven game modes at launch. This includes classic modes such as team deathmatch, domination, and Hardpoint, as well as the new mode, Patrol. In addition, an iconic map will be in the rotation in the days leading up to Season 1. The remastered map, Shipment, will arrive in Vanguard on November 17 to ramp up the chaos.
The Vanguard roadmap does not forget about a game changing feature… anti-cheat
As Vanguard rolls out, so with the new RICOCHET anti-cheat. Although the developers will be watching closely to identify any cheaters, players are still urged to report any suspicious behavior. However, you will have to wait a little longer for anti-cheat in Warzone as it will not be implemented until the new map arrives.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will see a huge amount of customization. You will not only be able to customize your operators, but your weapons too. Over 30 weapons will be available at launch, and you can equip 10 attachments to each. According to Sledgehammer Games, there will be over 200 unique weapon attachments for you to choose.
Next, Vanguard will share many similarities with previous titles. When you first play the game, there will be 55 ranks to work through to unlock all the items. Then, the seasonal prestige system will return. Additionally, weapon XP unlocks attachments and camo challenges and operators can be levelled up to get your hands on some new skins. Clans are replacing regiments. With this, you can join a clan with your friends where you can play together to unlock exclusive rewards while you earn clan XP. You can show off your clan with a unique custom emblem, clan tag, and more.
The Call of Duty: Vanguard roadmap shows the game will explode out the gate. And you don’t have much longer to wait, as it launches on November 5.
