Vanguard Automaton Class

The best Call of Duty: Vanguard Automaton class

Here comes the Automaton.

Since Call of Duty: Vanguard launched, players have been experimenting with all the guns and attachments available in the new title. With up to ten attachment slots, it can be difficult to decide on the best combination. Players have been rushing to make an Automaton class in Vanguard multiplayer, as its overall strength was noticed almost instantly.

Specifically, the Automaton is a devastating weapon at medium range. However, it can prove to be unreliable at longer ranges. This Automaton class will focus on making the assault rifle more versatile, with important aspects of any assault rifle, such as bullet velocity, addressed. At the same time, its firepower and accuracy will move up a notch too.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Automaton class

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Anastasia Sniper
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Rear Grip: Stippled Grip
  • Magazine: 8mm Klauser Rifle 50 Rounds Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Stock: Zac Skeletal
  • Proficiency: Tight Grip
  • Kit: On-hand
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

There are many attachments you can use to make the weapon more accurate. Firstly, the F8 Stabilizer Muzzle is important as it increases the accuracy and damage range of your weapon. Pairing this with the Anastasia Sniper Barrel will further improve your range and accuracy, while boosting your bullet velocity. Also, combining this with the M1941 Hand Stop attachment will allow you to experience even better recoil control and once again, accuracy.

Next, although the 8mm Klauser Rifle 50 Rounds Magazine has some drawbacks, the positives will make it worth your while. Apart from your magazine capacity increasing, your Automaton will deal more damage, create increased bullet penetration, and apply more bullet velocity and range. A viable ammunition type here is Lengthened. Ultimately, this will allow you to take out multiple enemies in fewer bullets without needing to reload.

In terms of a Stock, the Zac Skeletal will significantly improve your overall speed. Maximising your aim walking movement speed and aim walking steadiness will give you better strafing ability. At the same time, equipping the Tight Grip Proficiency will assist you when you are taking damage, by slightly improving your accuracy and recoil during sustained fire. This can give you the edge over your opponent and give you a greater chance of winning the gunfight.

Making your Automaton ready for every situation

In addition, to make the most out of your loadout, you can use the On-hand Kit. This will see you pull up your weapon faster after using equipment, so you will be able to get straight back into the action. Moreover, your Vanguard Automaton class can benefit from using the Stippled Grip attachment with added recoil recovery, and initial accuracy and recoil. As a result, those first few fired bullets will be even more precise. To complete your class, the Slate Reflector will let you take advantage of all these benefits, especially increased accuracy and range.

The Automaton is definitely a powerful weapon in Call of Duty: Vanguard and this class will shred through opponents that cross your path. You will be able to take on gunfights confidently and lead your team to that all important victory.
