Infinity Ward, one of the companies that develop Call of Duty, have stated they are working on a new game which they have described as “an exciting unannounced title for next generation console systems.”
This is not the first time they have stated that they are working on next gen projects though. An advert was spotted before that said:Â “Come work with the game industry’s brightest to design and implement high level network code for an exciting unannounced title for next generation console systems,”
Of course the first thing that comes to mind would be Modern Warfare, since Infinity Ward have always remained the main developer of all entries into the Modern Warfare franchise. But there is always a chance of course that it could be entirely unrelated, and maybe even a whole new IP.
