Just one day before Activision launches the sixth installment to the Call of Duty franchise with Ghosts, they have released some impressive numbers concerning its popular first-person shooter.
Activision has promised to change Call of Duty’s reputation as they add new features, such as map-changing events and other interactive elements. Ghosts promises to be “…the biggest overhaul of multiplayer since the original Modern Warfare.” Hit the link for the recently announced Extinction mode and other features from the official site.
The graphic [below] indicates some impressive multiplayer stats notched up on Call of Duty over the years.
If you’re wondering, there have been over 18 billion multiplayer matches played. That number doesn’t hold a candle to the 1.9 Quadrillion respawns or the 1900+ years worth of combined multiplayer hours put into the franchise, and f you are not on the positive end of a K/D ratio, you’ve probably contributed rather significantly to that statistic.
