What’s a major press event at a videogames show without mention of a Call of Duty game, eh? (don’t say “a blessed relief,” there are no points for snark). Sony used their Gamescom 2012 press conference to unveil a special PlayStation Vita bundle, complete with a unique console, a copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified and a Call of Duty branded pouch to stash your handheld in.
In addition, a few more details about the title itself were revealed. You can play 4vs4 multiplayer over the Vita’s wi-fi, in modes like Kill Confirmed that have become synonymous with the series. Vita touch features will be supported in some fashion too. It’s being developed by Nihilistic Software.
Declassified is said to bridge the narrative gap between Black Ops and its forthcoming, console-based sequel.
