Call of Duty Advanced Warfare (1)

If nothing else, we need an FOV slider to prevent guns taking up 50% of the screen.

The PC system specs page on Steam for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has received a small update, confirming that the game will have a native Field of View slider. If you missed the PC specs news post yesterday, you can read the minimum demands for the game over here.

In addition to those technical requirements, Steam has now added the following line:

  • Additional Notes: Field of View ranges from 65°-90°

It’s a small thing, but very welcome. Call of Duty: Ghosts required an external FOV fix, which caused a bit of a stir when Activision started sending their legal teams after it. Judging by this, Sledgehammer’s PC version is competent enough to provide an FOV slider in the native graphics options.

That doesn’t exactly guarantee an amazing version/port, but it does bode fairly well for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on PC.
