Earlier in May Charlie Brooker revealed that a new show called Gamewipe was in the works, and today he has confirmed via his twiiter, the show has been commisioned.Charlie Brookers Screenwipe and Newswipe on BBC Four has proved highly popular with its cutting edge wit, and the good news today is that games are set to get the Brooker treatment. On his Twitter page he added ” Gameswipe is happening, yes. More on that nearer the time.”IncGamers had been told in May by Endemol and Zeppotron, the companies involved in Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe and Charlie Brooker’s Newswipe, that the show was being made but production was not underway. Today’s update from Brooker is good news as the show has been give the green light from BBC Four. When Gameswipe will appear on our screens is uncertain but we’ll keep you posted.
