Breakaway Alpha Key Giveaway – Join the battle

Just in time for the weekend, we have another great PC Invasion key giveaway. This week we’ve teamed-up with Amazon Game Studios for this weekend’s alpha test of Breakaway.

Breakaway was announced last year and it’s a game where teams of four champions of myth and legend compete to get a ball into the other team’s goal. Locations will be right out of the mythological drawer too; places like El Dorado, and Atlantis. Breakaway is being developed by Amazon Game Studios Orange County (formerly known as Double Helix, of Killer Instinct fame).

Breakaway is a team battle sport where two squads of four collide in intense competition. Seize the Relic and slam it into your opponent’s base to score! Make plays with your team by passing, juking, and dunking the Relic. Crush your enemies with magic and steel. Control the arena with game-changing buildables and outplay the other team. With so many different ways to play and win, Breakaway is never the same game twice.

Every second counts when you’re dealing with lethal combat, tightly designed arenas and rounds that last just four minutes. Breakaway plays like a highlight reel of your favorite action games.

Choose your warrior and adapt team strategies on the fly with round-based gameplay where you’re only a momentum shift away from claiming victory. Deploy warrior specific “buildables” to modify the arena with fortifications such as healing shrines, defensive walls, turrets, and lethal traps to give your team the upper hand.

Showcase your skills by customizing not only the look of your warrior, but your weapons, taunts, and signature scoring moves such as dunks. Breakaway brings all the flash and spectacle you’d expect from sports.

Commentate matches in Spectator Mode; play with your Twitch followers in Broadcaster Match Builder; display custom stats with Metastream; and build awareness with Broadcast Spotlight. Don’t just win the match, win the crowd!

How to claim your alpha key

Sound good? Once you have your key you need to head to the login page on the Breakaway site to activate the key. Make sure you have a Twitch account handy.
