Bound by Flame - 01

The latest Bound by Flame trailer is here, and it focuses on how each player class handles combat.

The action-RPG from Spiders Studios actually appears to be shaping up pretty well, if this video can be used to judge it. You’ve got three skill trees – Warrior, Hunter, and Pyromancer – available, each of which will offer different abilities and different tactical advantages. You’ve got your chosen companion. You’ve got customisable weapons and armour. And, of course, you’ve got a rather large array of foes, who will presumably require different approaches. Assuming combat actually requires a bit of care and tactical thought, it looks like it should be both varied and entertaining.

Have a look at the video below and see for yourself. Bound by Flame itself is out on 9 May.

Tim has been playing PC games for longer than he's willing to admit. He's written for a number of publications, but has been with PC Invasion - in all its various incarnations - for over a decade. When not writing about games, Tim can occasionally be found speedrunning terrible ones, making people angry in Dota 2, or playing something obscure and random. He's also weirdly proud of his status as (probably) the Isle of Man's only professional games journalist.
