Gearbox has Tweeted that DLC for Borderlands PC is on the way.With the DLC already released on consoles, PC gamers playing the RPG shooter are keen to get their hands on the Zombie Island of Dr Ned. Unfortunately this latest update by Gearbox does not give any firm release date, stating:”DLC is on its way for PC (wish I had a date for you) and we have another update on the way as well with several fixes :)”.In other Borderlands news, Take-Two’s latest financials, which have just been released, indicate the importance of Borderlands as a franchise. Strauss Zelnick, Chairman of Take-Two has stated that Borderlands is “becoming an important long-term franchise” following the “successful launch” of the game.Gearbox has already said a sequel for Borderlands is a “no-brainer.” This has been reiterated by an updated trademark request by Gearbox which was spotted by Superannuation for the title Borderworlds.
