Borderland 2 datamining brings new DLC content details

After digging around the game files following the release of the Mechromancer update,  it looks like the first Borderlands 2 DLC will be taking players to an area called the Oasis and could well be going by the name of  “Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty”.

Achievements that have also been pulled from the files include:

  • “Treasure Hunter: Completed the mission “X Marks the Spot””
  • “Gadabout: Discovered all named locations in Oasis and the Surrounding Pirate’s Booty areas”
  • “Completionist: Completed all Pirate’s Booty side missions”

More details on the DLC will no doubt emerge in the coming days but if you are into your spoilers, check out the on-going thread on the Gearbox forums and even the whole dialogue script on Pastbin if you really want to know what’s coming.
