The Bloody Palace mode from previous Devil May Cry titles will be making its way to the new entry in the franchise shortly after the game releases via a free title update.
Bloody Palace mode will be unlocked (once patched in) by completing the game. For those who are not familiar with the Bloody Palace, it is a highly challenging addition to the game where the player will fight through a total of 100 battles with each 20th battle being a boss fight from the main game. Each battle raises the difficulty as you progress until reaching that ultimate final 100th battle which usually is incredibly hard.
Bloody Palace mode can add quite a lot of extra life to the game for those who are dedicated enough to beat it, however, after reaching the 100th battle on Devil May Cry 4 only to get torn to shreds after 2 hours of progress, I think it’s a feature I will personally be hesitant to attempt again.
