The fourth faction haunting the streets of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 has been unveiled. The Newcomers faction joins the likes of the Baron and the Pioneers. However, the Newcomers’ is more enigmatic that their compatriots. While the Baron offers work and the Pioneers seek to regain their glory, the Newcomers’ goals are unknown. What is known, however, is that the faction was founded by blood mages, which, frankly, is badass.
The Newcomers are led by “Professor” Viktor Goga. Not long after the faction left Europe to dwell in Seattle, Goga set to work gathering followers. He promises “safe access to blood,” and maybe something more. Goga clearly has his sights set on a bigger picture, but what his objectives are in gathering so many followers is a mystery. However, whatever the goal may be, the Newcomers might be good to work with if you’re looking for a faction prepared for just about anything.
“I realize that there are many in Seattle who will disparage you from associating with us. We’re a threat to their stability – the inevitable pressure that changes the way the city’s blood flows.”- Elif Parmak, right hand of Viktor Goga
The fight for Seattle
Bloodlines 2 will have another faction reveals in the coming days. So far, based on what we know from all the factions as well as vampire clans, that a war for Seattle is brewing. The Pioneers clearly have a strong reason to take a final stand. After all, it is one of the founding vampire factions of Seattle. Its fall to near obscurity is a blow to the member’s pride. The Baron’s faction, however, seems more interested in dealing out shady work more than anything. But it will no doubt have a hand in how you shape the city once the game releases.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 will release onto PC in March 2020.
