Diablo: IncGamers reports on the ticket sale bonanza that took place just a few hours ago. “BlizzCon 2010 tickets went on sale 25 minutes ago, and just like last year, they went fast,” Flux, one of the site’s administrators, said about the sale. “All tickets available in this first batch have already sold out.”

The spots went almost instantly and friends sitting in the same room connecting simultaneously found themselves thousands of places apart in the queue. A community member called ZeroSkin said he refreshed constantly, “was given the option to buy tickets, clicked purchase within roughly two seconds, ended up being 14,000 on the queue – didn’t even come close.”

It seems it was really a split second challenge.

The next ticket sale goes live on Saturday 5 June 10:00 Californian time (18:00 UK time, 19:00 Central European Time). Eric tipped us that “you might consider getting some friends to help you try; even if they don’t want to go they can buy them for you, and multiple people improves your odds.”

Wow, what a rush!
