Blizzard shuts down bugged Diablo 3 Beta content

This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

Over the weekend, Diablo 3 players discovered a bug in thegame which gave access to locked out areas in Act 1 of the ARPG.
Bypassing a gate that is locked in the Beta by being given the waypoints of the new ares from another player would give you access to areas such as the Festering Woods, the Fields of Misery abd the Drowned Temple. Each zone was fully playable with new monsters to fight which ramped up the beta difficulty.
This afternoon Blizzard pulled down the Beta servers and fixed the bug so the areas are no longer accessible.
In case you missed it, here it is in action and more info on the bug can be found on Diablo: IncGamers along with screenshots.
