Blade and Soul Western Release Date Announced

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

From the publisher NCSoft, who brought you games like GuildWars2, Aion and Lineage II, comes the newest smash hit MMO Blade and Soul. This riveting web of martial arts and mythology is slated to release for the North American and European regions on January 19th, 2016 at 12AM EST. Though Curse Voice users did get a special closed beta access a few weeks ago, which is sadly now over, there is a “Founder’s Pack” available for purchase, which will get you the game as early as January 15th.

If you are willing to wait, the game will be publicly available as a free-to-play MMO, similar to its Guild Wars counterpart. This game is definitely not one to be underestimated. It was initially released in 2013 and it brags a recurring user base of 1.8 million in a year and that’s in China alone! That easily competes with other well-known titles such as World of Warcraft. Drawing its inspiration heavily from Asian martial arts media, this game will feature 7 unique classes with a level cap of 45. You can hop online with all your friends and explore through its 30 dungeons or test out who’s truly the strongest in a 1v1 Arena.
