Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season Five introduced a range of new content across all game modes. This includes Zombies mode, which got a new Outbreak region, the addition of a new perk, and more. However, it appears that the content does not stop there as a new game mode has been added into the rotation. The latest Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies update has taken Outbreak to the next level with Outbreak survival.
The Outbreak survival mode will bump up the difficulty of Zombies. As you jump into the Outbreak region, you will notice that you can only load in with the 1911 pistol and there will be no mini map to help you out. Also, there is limited HUD, and weapon blueprints are restricted. Automatic health regeneration is disabled in the Outbreak survival mode too, instead, you’ll have to find food items to recover your health when you take damage. It’s a bit of a different take on the game mode, providing a unique experience from regular Outbreak.
With Outbreak survival come more stability fixes in Black Ops Cold War Zombies
Along with the release of Outbreak survival come some stability updates. The most notable fix here is to blueprints. An issue has been fixed which caused the “apply blueprint feature” with custom modifications to duplicate your weapon. In addition, a further problem that could cause this feature to incorrectly apply a custom modification has been addressed.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season Six is just around the corner. This season is expected to be the last for Black Ops Cold War. Zombies fans are looking forward to learning more about the new round based map that is expected to be released in Season Six. Then, it won’t be long until we hear what developer Treyarch has in store for Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies.
