Yesterday’s CD blunder where Mass Effect 2 CDs appeared inside PC versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 was pretty amusing, well not for those who had received the wrong disc of course.

To cash-in on some Mass Effect action, EA and Bioware have stepped up to “answer the call” and are offering  a free copy of the Mass Effect trilogy to the first 50 fans who send a picture of themselves holding the offending CD. The pictures need to be sent to [email protected] and winners will gain access to the Trilogy by the weekend.

Nice to see the debacle being turned into something more positive. Hats off to Bioware.
