Bioshock 2 Patch In Final Testing

A post at the Cult of Rapture confirms that a Bioshock 2 patch is nearing release.

The extensive patch notes cover PS3, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game and largely focus on multiplayer issues, which players have been experiencing since launch. Freezing, connection and lobby problems are all listed as fixed.

Although there’s no release date for this patch yet, 2K say that “these three patches are in their final stages of testing with Sony and Microsoft and the patch notes have been finalized.”

In addition, the post mentions a second forthcoming patch for the title. This will return Ken Levine’s creepy vending machine sounds to the game and add the option for colour blind-friendly hacking.

As soon as either of these patches get a release date, we’ll bring that to you.
