Edmund McMillen’s (Team Meat) randomly generated action-RPG-shooter Binding of Isaac now has a release date and price on its head.
It’s probably the first rogue-like influenced dungeon crawler to be indirectly based on the Old Testament tale of Abraham and Isaac, but I wouldn’t like to say for sure. I can say that it’ll have over 100 unique items, more than 50 enemy types and eight levels; all for the grand old price of $5 USD from Steam.
Release day is 28 September, but until then enjoy the deeply disturbing trailer for the game and some equally disturbing images.
