Dishonored 2 standalone Dishonored: Death of the Outsider has a new trailer, in which some of Billie Lurk’s powers get an airing. I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with some of these, but at one point she appears to steal somebody’s face and carry it around for a bit.
Still, maybe that’s a necessary course of action if Billie is to carry out Daud’s plan and, as the name of the game suggests, kill The Outsider. In Thief: The Dark Project all you needed to kill a god was a great big bomb, so perhaps that could work here. Unlikely, though. The Outsider seems like he’d be able to figure that one out.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider comes to PC on 15 September. As mentioned, it’s stand-alone, so you don’t need either of the Dishonored titles to play it (though familiarity with the setting and story will obviously help). It looks like it’s using the Void Engine again, so it’s doubtful whether performance will be any better in this than the patched Dishonored 2.
