A few months ago we reported on a rumour that Sony were planning on releasing The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls on the PlayStation 4. We all hoped the rumour would prove true and a few days ago Sony announced that The Last of Us would indeed be coming to the PS4 in a remastered edition. That proved that at least half of the rumour was true, but what about Beyond: Two Souls?
Well whilst nothing official has been announced, a keen eyed NeoGAF user named Dragonbane may have uncovered proof of Beyond’s transition to the PS4. Dragonbane spotted the below image on one of the game designers online portfolios.
What you’re looking at is an input code for the game but for a DualShock 4 controller, which as we all know is a controller only compatible with the PS4. The image has since been taken down which only adds fuel to the fire and the user Dragonbane mention some text refers to a Directors Cut.
So will the game be coming to the next gen? It seems very likely but don’t get too excited until something official gets announced. For now, Beyond: Two Souls is available exclusively on the PS3.
