OXM has been sniffing around the Bethesda classified ads and noticed a couple of interesting hiring moves. The company is currently on the look out for a programmer who wants to join the “bleeding-edge of RPG development” on both PC and console. Experience with DirectX 11 is noted as a plus.
Further to that, Bethesda want a quest designer who’s familiar with the Elder Scrolls Construction Kit and/or GECK (Fallout’s level creation tool.) That doesn’t necessarily mean they want somebody to work on an Elder Scrolls or Fallout title, of course. The job responsibilities suggest the person will be there to “Design and document stories and quests for future next generation products.”
Finally, they’re after an executive producer who (in general) leads “the entire external development effort for a game franchise or one or more products being developed concurrently.”
Again, this isn’t the much-desired confirmation of a Fallout 4 or anything like that, but more just an indication that Bethesda is bolstering the staff rosters for something new.
