Bethesda details Brink’s dedicated servers

This article is over 13 years old and may contain outdated information

Bethesda know how much PC players love dedicated servers, which is why Brink will have as many dedicated servers as you can eat.
Well, that metaphor doesn’t really work as you couldn’t eat a dedicated server. But the point is, the game is going to make it as easy as possible to get one up and running. There’s a full FAQ about just that on Bethesda’s blog, explaining that getting hold of a dedicated server will be as simple as downloading it from Steam prior to the game’s release.

The servers will be free, customisable and you’ll be able to run more than one per machine. Server-side commands will also provide the ability to fine tune and tweak.
If you need more Brink-related details, why not have a read of John’s Q&A with creative director Richard Ham. Part one is here, swiftly followed by part two.
