Best X13 Auto Loadout for Warzone 2 and MW2

Try out a new potent auto pistol

We recently made a build guide for the phenomenal FTAC Siege, boasting a fire rate that can make SMGs blush. It seems Infinity Ward isn’t content with just one full-auto pistol, so now we have the X13 Auto as well. In this guide, I’ll show you the best X13 Auto Loadout for Warzone 2 and MW2 and a few flex options to suit your preferences.

To unlock the X13 Auto, you need to get your X12 Pistol to Level 10. You can do this easily in MW2 on any of the 24/7 maps, but Shipment is the fastest. If you only have Warzone 2, I recommend leveling up your pistols in Plunder if the mode is available. Let me show you the attachments I use for the X13 Auto and my reasoning.

X13 Auto Attachments

  • Barrel: Impact Point
  • Muzzle: CN30 Suppressor
  • Underbarrel: XTEN Nexus Grip
  • Magazine: 33 Round Mag
  • Rear Grip: Cronen Lima-6

The Impact Point Barrel gives us buffs to Movement and ADS speed. The real game changer with this barrel is the ‘Expanded Gunsmithing,’ which lets us add an Underbarrel to the weapon.

The CN30 Suppressor gives us increased Damage Range and Bullet Velocity. The X13 Auto feels like a hit marker machine without this, and the Sound Suppression is a welcome bonus. The FT Steelfire is a decent alternative for muzzle and offers similar buffs.

We want Aim Stability and Recoil Stabilization, and the XTEN Nexus Grip provides that. Stats-wise, the FTAC Tiger Grip is very similar and buffs Hip Fire Accuracy too. Unfortunately, it comes with a Walk Speed penalty on a gun that shines when we’re mobile. If you prefer a slower playstyle, the FTAC Tiger is a solid choice.

I’ve tested the 33 Round Mag vs. the larger 50 Round option, and I prefer the handling with the smaller mag. I usually run the biggest magazine available, but it feels very sluggish with the X13 Auto.

Finally, the Rear Grip gives us some welcome handling buffs. Akimbo is an option with the X13 Auto and is unlocked when you reach level 19 with the X12. The Akimbo X13 Auto’s are deadly bullet hoses if you pair them with the 50-Round Mags, but it comes at a price. Akimbo sounds good on paper, but the recoil is very hard to tame. Nothing is more frustrating than losing fights because you’re hitting the walls around your opponent, so I prefer other weapons for Akimbo.

Is the X13 Auto better than the FTAC Siege?

Both are strong options for a powerful close-range sidearm without needing the Overkill perk. For me, the FTAC Siege fits this role better. The X13 is a great secondary weapon and a ton of fun, but it won’t outperform an SMG up close and lacks the stability of the FTAC Siege. It’s a fun weapon but not my first choice if I’m getting ready to sweat online. If you’ve not built your own FTAC Siege yet, check out our full build guide.
